When used with a patch repair kit, wheeled packers can be used to make repairs within pipes or drains, by moving the repair material along the pipe, and inflating the packer to create a tight seal. Larger wheeled packers are fitted with an internal bypass, allowing water to flow through while repairs are taking place.
Wheeled packers have the added benefit of being easy to manoeuvre through the pipe, with 3 wheels on each end of the packer. Wheeled packers are available in a range of sizes to suit pipe diameters from 100mm to 800mm, each in a range of lengths from 100mm to 5000mm.
